From July 26-29, Indiana's electric cooperatives sponsored a fun, all-expenses-paid camp for incoming seventh graders to explore energy, teamwork, and develop leadership. Camp Kilowatt blends education with traditional camp activities such as rock climbing, horseback riding, archery, and more! Located in Nashville, Indiana, Camp Kilowatt is a 4-day overnight experience that students will remember for a lifetime.

WIN Energy REMC selected three students to attend this year’s camp. Bella Coleman, Olivia Muehlbauer and Gannon Pope. Bella is a student at Fort Branch Community School and participates in FCA, Relay for Life, and a variety of school sports. Olivia is a student at Princeton Community Middle School. Gannon is a student at Shakamak Elementary School and participates in 4-H, baseball, basketball, and cross country.

We are so happy that Bella, Olivia, and Gannon had the opportunity to attend Camp Kilowatt!
