On Thursday, October 5, 30 employees participated in Indiana Electric Cooperative's Community Day. Each year, electric cooperatives across the state spend one day volunteering with an organization in their community. This year, the WIN Energy REMC team volunteered at the Sullivan 4-H Fair Grounds. Work included weeding, replacing mulch with rock, building benches, tree trimming, and re-hanging a security light. Even though our crews got caught in the rain, we continued to work to get the job done. It was a great day!
