Customer Information


    Convenient locations:   WIN Energy offers three convenient locations to serve our members. The main office is located at 3981 South U.S. Highway 41 in Vincennes. The Sullivan office is located at 2044 W State Road 154 in Sullivan and the Princeton office is located at 106 Second Street in Princeton. Members can pay electric bills, apply for new service, connect or disconnect service at any one of these locations.

    Drive-thru window:   Our Vincennes and Sullivan offices have drive-thru windows open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for those people who like the convenience of paying from their car. Many of our members take advantage of this convenient feature.

    Night depository:   You can drop off your payment anytime after hours and leave it in the night depository that is located by the drive-thru window at our Vincennes and Sullivan offices. There is also a night depository that is located near the main entrance of the Princeton office.

    Toll-free number:   We have hundreds of members for whom calling the REMC means making a toll call. For those members we have a toll-free number: 1-800-882-5140. This toll-free number is also available to report an outage or emergency 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

    Automatic payment plan:   The automatic payment plan (APP) is a method by which WIN Energy REMC draws the money from your bank account to pay your monthly electric bill. The payment is made automatically on the due date that is printed on your bill. Members wishing to use this service must sign an authorization form.

    Budget billing:   If you would like to equalize your monthly bill, then budget billing might be for you. Billing amounts are determined by estimating your twelve months' electric usage. Members wishing to use this service must complete an enrollment form.

    Credit or debit card:   You can pay your electric bill by either using VisaŽ or MasterCardŽ.

    Phone Notification System:   WIN Energy REMC sometimes uses an automated phone notification system to get important information to our members. It is an efficient method of informing a large number of members of billing information or of a planned outage to repair our lines. In order for this type of notification to be effective, it is important for us to have current phone numbers for our members. Please notify us if you change your number.

    Electric water heater rebate:   WIN Energy offers a free water heater for new construction or replacing a fossil fuel water heater to an electric one. All installations are subject to inspection. Call our office for more information.

    Air-to-Air heat pump or Geothermal heat pump rebate:   WIN Energy offers a $250.00 rebate to members that have a new heat pump installed in a new home or replacement of an existing fossil fuel heating system. All installations are subject to inspection. Call our office for more information.

    Security lighting:   Security lighting is available to protect your home for just a few cents a day. Security lights turn on a dark and off at dawn automatically. Please contact the office for more information.

    Surge protection:   A surge protection device from WIN Energy REMC can help keep your computer and other valuable electronic equipment safe in the event of sudden power surges.

    Medical alert list:   Members who depend on electricity for respirators, oxygen machines, etc. can be placed on our medical alert list. In order to be placed on the medical alert list you will be asked to provide a medical statement from your doctor which documents the medical needs you may have. If you qualify, you will have a specially marked medical meter installed at your location and be added to our medical alert list.
