Energy Audits Available to WIN Energy REMC Members

WIN Energy REMC wants to help maximize the energy efficiency of your home in order to reduce your energy use and save you money on your monthly electric bill. An energy audit can help locate areas in your home that could be improved or changed in order to use electricity more efficiently. The energy audits we offer include a blower door test, which is a great indicator of improvements that can be made.  The test can point out areas of air leakage in your home where hot air in the winter or cold air in the summer is leaving your home, thus increasing your energy costs.
